Volunteer with Best Ottawa
Help Ottawa readers find their way around the city. We’re looking for student journalists and other volunteers to research, write and update our local guides.
Ways to help
- Reporting and writing
- Research story ideas, interview local business owners or write a guide.
- Research and fact-checking
- Check details like hours and locations, and flag guides that need an update.
- Photography and editing
- Take photos of local places or help make guides clearer and easier to read.
These are volunteer roles. If you’re new to journalism or have another way you’d like to contribute, we’d like to hear from you.
